8 Years of KAZARTT. Thank You.

That’s me in this photo. Guillaume.

Well… an older version of me.

This picture was taken in 2018.

Back then, KAZARTT didn’t really exist yet. Or rather, KAZARTT already existed in my head, in my notebooks, in my dreams, and in the dozens of ideas that sometimes kept me awake at night.

I still had everything to learn.

I knew nothing about fashion.
I knew nothing about belt manufacturing.
I knew nothing about logistics.
I knew nothing about e-commerce.

And yet, I had this slightly crazy conviction that I had to give it a try.

Eight years later, when I look at this photo, I feel a lot of emotion.

Because between the Guillaume in this picture and the one writing these words today, a lot has happened.

Successes.
Mistakes.
Doubts.
Encounters.
Travels.
Sleepless nights.
Moments of pride.
Moments when I wanted to give up.

And above all, thousands of people whose paths crossed with KAZARTT.

Today, before opening a new chapter in this adventure, I wanted to take a few minutes to look back

And simply say thank you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Because if KAZARTT is still here today, eight years later, it’s because of you.

And this story deserves to be told.

Almost a decade ago, KAZARTT was born from a simple idea: to create original, colorful, different belts.

Belts that tell a story.
Belts that have a soul.

At the time, I was living in Spain. Between Madrid and Barcelona.

I was working in a very corporate environment, flying every week, and yet… I had this need to build something of my own. Something more creative. More personal. More alive.

It was actually on a plane that I met Amandine, the person who would help bring the very first belts to life and support the project throughout its first year.

Without Amandine, KAZARTT would probably still have existed. I was already speaking with manufacturers and was determined to launch the project.

But it certainly wouldn’t have been the same.

I had the idea.

Amandine gave it shape.

From the bottom of my heart: thank you, Amandine.

Thank you for the countless breakfasts shared in front of our screens.

But most importantly, thank you for believing in this project and being so deeply involved in it.

When KAZARTT launched, I had absolutely no idea where this project would take me.

My parents were actually worried when I left my corporate job.

The photo below was taken on September 28th, 2018.

It was my last day at work.

And we had organized a party at my place to celebrate the official launch of KAZARTT.

(By the way, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in that photo. Because every single person there, without exception, bought a KAZARTT belt.)

I was young.

And probably naïve enough to believe that KAZARTT would immediately allow me to make a living.

I certainly didn’t think this adventure would last eight years.

Those eight years have been filled with incredible highs, moments of doubt, stress, encounters, lessons, and emotions.

After the first year, I was completely broke.

I loved the project, but financially, things were very difficult.

That’s when I moved to Dubai.

Dubai was a rebuilding phase.

Professionally first.
Personally as well.

That city allowed me to regain financial stability, rebuild myself, and most importantly, bring KAZARTT back to life.

It’s also where I met my wife.

Then came Colombia.

Another adventure.
Another life.
The birth of my daughter.

More memories connected, directly or indirectly, to this brand that has been part of my life for almost a decade.

And today, here I am, back in Belgium.

When I look back, I realize something quite remarkable.

Without KAZARTT, many of these adventures might never have happened.

This brand has taken me places.

It has allowed me to meet incredible people.

It has taught me so much about business, marketing, creativity, and above all, about myself.

And none of it would have been possible without you.

Without the very first orders.
Without the messages.
Without the loyal customers.
Without the encouragement.
Without the shares.
Without all the people who believed in this project from day one.

Some of you have been following KAZARTT for almost eight years now.

And that’s difficult to fully grasp.

So today, I simply wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for wearing my belts.
Thank you for giving KAZARTT as a gift.
Thank you for following the adventure.
Thank you for being part of this story.

A new chapter is about to begin for KAZARTT.

I won’t say more for now.

But before that, I needed to take a moment to look in the rear-view mirror and tell you how grateful I am.

The next chapter is coming soon.

And once again: thank you for these incredible eight years.

For eight years, those words have guided many of my decisions.

And today, after dedicating so many years to this project, it may be time for me to put them into practice once again.
