2025: A Year of Transitions, Priorities, and Quiet Consistency

2025: A Year of Transitions, Priorities, and Quiet Consistency

2025 was not a loud year for KAZARTT.

No major launches. No big campaigns. No radical changes.

And yet, it may have been one of the most important years since the brand was created.

Because 2025 was a year of life decisions, stability, and intentional slowing down.

Back to the roots 🍟🇧🇪

From Bogota to Belgium...

At the beginning of the year, one of the biggest decisions of my life became reality: moving back to Belgium with my daughter, Sofía.

What should have been a simple family transition turned into a slightly absurd (but now funny) story.

I flew back in Belgium in March. My wife and daughter were supposed to finish some paperwork in Colombia and fly in April. My heart was broken : leaving my 2 princesses behind.

And when the day finally arrived and my wife was about to board her flight for a new life, Colombian authorities didn't allow her to fly alone with Sofía. We were missing one paper, from me, authorizing her to leave the country.

The day after, I was in a plane to Bogota. And back the very same weekend, crossing the Atlantic twice in a few days.

Exhausting? Yes.

Worth it? Absolutely.

Because that moment perfectly sums up what 2025 represented for me: priorities were crystal clear.

Closing this with an anecdote : on Monday, my colleagues couldn't believe I had spent my weekend in ... Bogota.

Picture of us in Bogota, few hours after I landed. Few hours before our departure.

A New Chapter: Full-Time Work, New Rhythm

2025 also marked another major shift: starting a new full-time mission in Belgium.

That came with a new rhythm, new responsibilities, and less flexibility than entrepreneurship alone. It also meant making peace with the idea that not every year can be about acceleration.

Some years are about building.

Others are about consolidating.

2025 was clearly the second one.

Settling down, properly

Moving countries (continents) with a child is not just about boxes and paperwork. Itss about routines, daycare, new habits, and emotional anchors.

This year, we truly settled down.

And one of the most symbolic moments was celebrating Sofía's 1st birthday in Belgium, surrounded by family.

It grounded everything.

KAZARTT has always been about values.

In 2025, family became the dominant one.

KAZARTT in 2025: On Hold, But Not Off

From the outside, 2025 may look like a quiet year for KAZARTT.

And that's true.

  • No new photoshoot
  • No new product launch
  • No major events
  • No radical rebranding

Instead, the focus was very simple:

Repeat what works. Don't break what still makes sense.

The Christmas season relied on:

  • The same collections
  • The same visuals
  • The same messaging
  • The same philosophy

Less noise. Less novelty. More consistency.

And interestingly, that choice reinforced something I deeply believe in:

A strong product doesn't need constant reinvention.

A Brand that can pause ⏸️ (And still stand)

One of the most reassuring realizations this year was this:

KAZARTT can slow down without disappearing.

  • Orders kept coming.
  • Customers kept trusting.
  • Belts kept traveling across borders.

That resilience matters more than growth curves.

Because it means the brand is no longer just momentum-driven.

It has foundations.

Looking Ahead

2025 reminded me that entrepreneurship doesn’t always look like hustle and expansion.

Sometimes, it looks like:

  • Choosing family over speed
  • Stability over novelty
  • Long-term vision over short-term excitement

KAZARTT didn't grow loudly this year.

But it held its ground.

And that, in the long run, might be one of the healthiest signs a brand can show.
